Traditional Chinese Medicine

Often, people assume that Traditional Chinese Medicine, a science encapsulating 2500 years of research and clinical practice, consists simply of acupuncture and herbal teas. "TCM" is actually an ancient holistic medicine that treats the entire person- in all aspects-body, mind and spirit. Harmony and balance are the primary goals of TCM and understandably, one of the first tenets of TCM is preventing illness by making conscious lifestyle choices.

Good health is maintained through a combination of diet, exercise, meditation and massage. When health problems occur, they are treated with food therapy, herbal remedies, acupuncture, and a variety of other modalities such as moxibustion, Tui Na (twee-nah) cupping, electrical stimulation, and Qi Gong (pronounced chee-gung).
